Subject: Mission of Peace for our children
Hi! Your mother and I are just setting here thinking of you all and thoutht we would send a thought or two about everyday living in this world. Today we are living in a rapidly changing world. The advances being made by science and technology are leading humanity into amazing, new dimensions. Our children and grand Kids are traveling the information highway via computers, cell phomes, iPods, video games, and more. Technologies that were only fantasized about in science fiction books and movies when we were kiks are now a part of their everyday lives.
However, with all the wonders of postmodern society, we human beings have yet to learn how to live peacefully with one another. Even on the job, we have a hard time getting along with one another and living peacefully with each other. Get rid of those traits that cause enmity and dissension on the job and in the home. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice, and just sat back and watch how god will work it out, and solve the problems we thought implssible to solve.
We want our children to be peacemakers, and to remind all of you that you have the power within you to make your lives meaningful and fulfilling. Peacemakers, peacekeeping, and promoting peace, harmony and unity, all begins in the home and among extended family members( ......., ......., ......).
We want to close our message this morning with this thought, communicate in a manner that promotes peace. Let wholesome talk come out of your mouths, only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Please read and study Eph.4:29, Eph.4:31.
